Drive a few miles outside of Lubbock, TX and you’ll find a magical garden layered with vegetables, flowers, and two hard-working stewards of the land: Ashley and Josh, of Quail Feather Farms.
Ashley and Josh began their journey as local farmers nearly 15 years ago, when they started sharing ideas and dreams of one day working for themselves, doing something honest, and providing healthy food for local consumers. Well, fast forward to 2018, and the farm is up-and-coming. Quail Feather currently grows upwards of 15 crops, multiple flower varieties, and is actively involved in community projects such as Hunger and Horticulture and The Dream Center.
If you’re looking for a chance to learn about food, destress, or enjoy a meal made of locally grown goodies, look no further than Quail Feather Farms. Be sure to follow them on Facebook, and give Ashley or Josh a call for more information regarding your local food and flowers. You can also find their booth at the Wolfforth and Lubbock Farmers Markets.
